Cari Harker Henry, M.Ed., BCBA – Program Director

CariCari has a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration, a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in Special Education and a Graduate Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. In addition, she has a Texas Teaching Certification in Elementary Self-Contained and Highly Qualified in the core subject areas for grades first through eighth, Texas Teaching Certification in Generic Special Education for grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth and a Texas Principal Certification for grades early childhood through twelfth.  She is also a Level Four Behavior Intervention Specialist in Positive Behavior Supports. In 2003, she became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and in 2011 became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She worked in the public school system for seventeen years, with children from three years of age to twenty-two years of age diagnosed with a variety of disabilities developing and implementing behavioral interventions. Along with working with the children in the school settings, she worked with them in the home, as well as with their families. Her last ten years in the school system she worked closely with students, classroom teachers, school administrators and parents to collaboratively assist a child in reaching success and their full potential.

She believes that great teamwork/collaboration, consistent hard work and a few good laughs along with way are the keys to great achievement. She has been working with children diagnosed with a disability since high school and truly feels a passion for it. She and her husband are the proud parents of two amazing boys.
